Dott. Carmela Viscardi

The Pennisola blu teacher

Cari genitori,

Inglese

Dear parents,

My name is Carmela and I am an Italian teacher. I studied Literature at the University of Naples Federico II and I am currently a PhD candidate in Comparative Literature at the University of Rome UNINT and at Charles University in Prague.

Two years ago I also lived and studied in France, in Nantes. After returning to Italy, I worked as an Italian L2 teacher, supporting foreign children who were learning Italian as a second language.

In June 2025, I obtained my qualification to teach Humanities and Literature (national subject class A022) along with the certification as a Childcare Practitioner (Infancy Operator for ages 0-6).

I truly love working with children and, more broadly, being part of the teaching world—especially in intercultural settings.

At “Piccole Pesti” kindergarten, I lead the art-therapy laboratory “La Penisola Blu”, an Italian-language creative workshop that takes place every Tuesday afternoon.

Armeen Mansoor

CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH TEACHER

Dear Parents,

Hello! My name is Armeen, and I’m thrilled to introduce myself as one of the new after-school English teachers at Piccole Pesti. I’m 21 years old and currently a medical student from Pakistan, but I’ve lived in Dubai my whole life. I graduated from Dubai British School and have been enjoying the beautiful city of Prague for the past two years.

With 4 years of experience tutoring English to children of different ages, I believe in making every lesson a fun and interactive adventure! My aim is to create a classroom where your children are excited to learn and feel comfortable to express themselves.

In my free time, I love exploring new places, meeting new people, and discovering different cultures. I am beyond excited to start this new chapter at Piccole Pesti and can’t wait to meet all the wonderful students and parents. Together, we’re going to have a fantastic time learning and growing!

Looking forward to a joyful and enriching school year with all of you!

Warm wishes,

Armeen
